Description
Dalloyau, which has been reinventing French gastronomy for more than 300 years, continues to scale new heights. After opening several kiosks in the train stations of Paris, and new points of sale in la Samaritaine, the big brand is taking possession of a unique place in the heart of Paris: the Eugénie footbridge at Saint-Lazare station.
The Eugénie footbridge, known as the Empress Footbridge, is an architectural gem in the heart of Paris. This secret place, secret in more ways than one, having been open to the public only on European Heritage Days, directly linked the Saint-Lazare train station to the Hilton hotel and allowed the young Empress to travel incognito.
Completely refurbished and renovated by the famous Maison de Gastronomie, this magical and historic place is already an essential venue for Parisians, who meet there to savour the cuisine of the young chef Justine Piluso. Bathed in light, the 200 m2 restaurant seats around a hundred and welcomes Parisians and travellers from all over the world, every day from breakfast to dinner, including lunch and afternoon tea. On one of the walls of the restaurant, the artist Bishop has created a large, colourful, quirky and modern fresco that blends in perfectly with the Eiffel style of the footbridge.
The young chef with a big smile and magic hands offers tasty recipes made from products from Île-de-France. Thanks to the unstoppable demand to eat local and to promote local producers, Justine eagerly accepted the challenge thrown at her by the famous Maison Dalloyau.
Butternut squash with Meaux mustard, L’Œuf Parfait with Paris mushrooms, Mackerel and virgin olive oil with Montmorency cherries, or Arancini with a Coulommiers cheese centre are just some of the chef's to-die-for creations. And you can’t go wrong with the essential dish, Chicken with Morels, which never fails to please and which has been revamped for the occasion. A 100% eat-local menu that seeks out the good, the beautiful and the natural and which honours the work of the small producers of Île-de-France.
Dishes to eat in or take away.
The former Top Chef 2020 candidate, who was a hit with viewers for her hearty cooking and her unfailing smile, is also taking the helm of the kitchens of Dalloyau Faubourg.
By combining food, art and history The Dalloyau Saint-Lazare is full of life and a great place for meeting up!
