Description

In 2011, Alexis Roux de Bézieux decided to open a Parisian grocery store to completely transform your shopping experience. Since then, his success has known no bounds, and he has opened a further 3 stores in the Marais, Pigalle and Rambuteau.

Inspired by the slow food and locavore movements, Causses offers a small selection of local produce, including kitchen garden fruit and vegetables, a range of the very best artisan cheeses and charcuterie meats, and a wine cellar featuring around fifty or so top-quality labels. In this lovely local shop, every day is a new adventure of heirloom vegetables, spices every colour of the rainbow, and bread in a myriad of different shapes.

If it’s lunch you’re looking for, the restaurant welcomes you with open arms into its homely, boho dining room, offering a menu of house-made, healthy and delicious dishes. A huge self-service buffet is put on for brunch lovers every Saturday at the Saint-Martin boutique, including seasonal salads, fresh fruit, bread straight from the oven and chef specials.

Causses is also located at 55 rue ND de Lorette, Paris 9 and 99 rue Rambuteau, Paris 1.

The very best in gastronomy can be found in Paris Region's markets and delicatessens.
