- Boat rentals in Versailles
Description
To fully enjoy the wonders of Louis XIV’s famous château, take a seat aboard a small boat on the palace’s Grand Canal. With family, friends or that special someone, take the oars and sail down this 22-hectare artificial basin designed by André Le Nôtre, where you can admire one of the most visited sites in the world from a different perspective.
From March to 15 November, the company Astel will offer boat rentals for 4 people (5 if you come with children) for half an hour to an hour. Boat rides are a non-polluting leisure activity in line with sustainable development goals. They are also completely safe, as life jackets are provided to children free of charge.
Embark on a journey through time in the footsteps of the Sun King or Marie-Antoinette, against the tranquil backdrop of a historic site best enjoyed on sunny days.
