Description
To mark the 65th anniversary of the creation of Asterix the Gaul** by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny, Culturespaces and Éditions Albert René are joining forces to present Asterix, the Immersive Journey, a unique creation specially designed for the Atelier des Lumières, the first digital art centre in Paris.
An XXL version of Asterix the Gaul
Like an open book, you'll be plunged into the meticulously recreated settings of the famous comic strip. From the village of the irreducible Gauls in the lush green plains of Gaul to the arid landscapes of Hispania, via the misty lands of Great Britain and the pyramids of Egypt, follow the adventures of Asterix and his friends as they search for the druid Panoramix who has been kidnapped by Julius Caesar. The colourful characters who lulled our childhood and who continue to charm young and old alike today, come to life on the walls of the Atelier. Each scene showcases Uderzo's fluid, expressive pencil strokes, capturing the emotions of the merrymakers with precision and humour.
Asterix is also driven by the pen of René Goscinny and his inescapable dialogue, whose subtlety and timelessness have made the iconic series famous. In keeping with the heritage of Asterix, as conceived by its talented authors, this immersive exhibition promises to captivate the hearts and minds of everyone. A sensory experience accompanied by an eclectic soundtrack, for an unforgettable adventure.
Join us at the Atelier des Lumières from the All Saints' Day holidays to experience this journey like no other.
