Description
A new shopping centre opening in the middle of a public health crisis? Some might be surprised by the announcement, but with its open-air shopping concept, Shopping Promenade is reinventing the genre.
Open since 10 March in Claye-Souilly, it is a veritable village in the middle of an urban landscape, combining shops, play and leisure facilities and cultural activities.
A real godsend for the residents of the Val-de-Marne and neighbouring départements, and the ideal place for a stroll with family or friends, to shop and have fun.
The route is inspired by the codes of urban architecture, and boasts diverse materials (wood, stone, metal) and exceptional greenery, with over 1,285 trees planted. The perfect environment in which to relax!
On the shopping front, the offer is rich and varied. You will find major fashion chains such as Levi’s, Pimkie and Superdry, as well as shoe stores, sports shops, interior design with La Chaise Longue, an Afflelou optician, the florist Monceau Fleurs and, coming soon, FNAC and Nature & Découverte. There is something for everyone, and plenty to tickle the taste buds too, with no fewer than 15 restaurants!
Leisure-wise, there are 9,000m2 dedicated to entertainment, offering fun for all the family. Indoor karting, bowling, laser-game, cinema, pétanque, fountains, picnic tables… Shopping with the kids at Shopping Promenade is a real pleasure!
This new hub of activity, rooted firmly in the local community, also organises regular cultural events (exhibitions, talks, concerts, etc.) amid vast works of street-art coordinated by artist Speedy Graphito.
