Science Expériences
Description
Designed as a playful and immersive journey, Science Experiences invites you to discover the fascinating world of knowledge and science.
When E=mc² becomes fun
For little ones with a love of learning, head to Bercy Village and dive into the world of figures, formulae and **theorems ** in a fun and entertaining approach to mathematics, physics and biology.
Set across 850 m², the route takes you from room to room to acquire new knowledge by means of 3D videos, video mapping, in addition to multisensory performances and educational exhibits .
You enter the exhibition through the briefing room, where you will be greeted by the father of relativity, Albert Einstein, or at least his hologram which presents the different stages and discoveries you will encounter during your visit.
The first room takes you on a space odyssey. Explore the edge of the universe through an enchanting animated film or via virtual reality (depending on your age) and lose yourself in the scale of the infinitely large.
Then descend into the cold darkness of the ocean depths to meet the mysterious inhabitants, surrounded by sounds and images for a multisensory immersion.
Next up, we have the Volcano room. Journey to the bowels of the Earth to reach its core where you will discover immersive video mapping allowing visitors to interact with animations projected onto the walls and floor.
The Human Body room invites you to discover the secrets of our anatomy: our bones, muscles and nervous system. As an added bonus, you can compare yourself to the tallest man of all time!
Plants then reveal their extraordinary powers in an enchanted setting featuring a quiz and a wheel of fortune. Do you have the answers?
Manga fans can identify with their shaggy-haired heroes in the Electrostatic room by going up against the Van de Graaf generator.
The tour ends with the Quantum room where everything seems possible, from lasers, to levitation and teleportation.
Real science
Through the diverse range of subjects covered, Science Experiments offers an excellent overview of existing scientific disciplines. The use of ultra-modern and original methods make it a real learning experience for all visitors, regardless of their age.
Science Experiments is supported by a committee of scientists who authenticate the content presented. This committee includes figures as well-known as the astrophysicist David Elbaz, the volcanologist Aline Peltier, Marie-Charlotte Morin, PhD in biology and Bill François, specialist in marine species.
