Description
Embark on a journey of discovery of the most beautiful monuments located along the waterways of the Paris region. For a morning, a day or on a custom schedule, the 2½ hour excursions, in French and English, are supervised by guides.
The routes to choose from
The most famous of the Paris Canal cruises takes you from the port of the Musée d'Orsay to the Parc de la Villette. You will gently float by the Tuileries Gardens and the Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral before arriving at the first lock at the Port of Bastille. The boat continues onto the Canal Saint-Martin past its romantic footbridges. The Rue de Crimée lift bridge opens up as you arrive at the buzzing Bassin de la Villette.
And that's just one of the routes available. You can sail up to the Stade de France sports stadium, to Bobigny, a north-eastern suburb of Paris, or take a romantic dinner cruise on the Seine.
Feel like escaping? Climb aboard the Boucle de la Marne cruise, for a whole day of boating in the countryside. As you manoeuvre by swans and coloured sailboats, keen an eye out for the “guinguette” style cafés on the small islands, and the beautiful houses nestled among the trees.
