Ô Chateau

In the heart of the first arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Louvre and the Palais-Royal garden, lies an inviting, sophisticated, elegant and rare gem. It’s unlike any other restaurant or bar. This is Ô Chateau, a wine bar and tasting room. It is preceded by both its reputation and its history.

Located within the former private residence of the Marquise de Pompadour, a place that has hosted dukes, ambassadors, great thinkers… everyone in Parisian high society. Set over 300 m², this prestigious location extends a warm and cosy welcome to all. As well as the bar, there is also a vinothèque, a lounge area and a 17th century vaulted cellar.

The temple of tasting

But the main reason for our visit is the tasting sessions. No less than 50 wines by the glass, which change every Monday, and 500 wines by the bottle. Tasting workshops and wine tours to discover different vineyards in France and around the world will soon turn you into a true expert!
In addition to all this, artisan cheeses, charcuterie and even “homemade” foie gras, are available. This bar offers an essential insight into Parisian culture!
