Description
The Mingway is the restaurant of the Centre National de la Danse in Pantin. On the ground floor of the CND is a wide-open space made from concrete and wood, with a large terrace offering a view over the Canal de l’Ourcq. The Mingway was created by an association called Ernest, a network of chefs who finance food aid actions for the needy in partnership with the charity "Famille Populaire". Their aim? To make fine food available to all at affordable prices!
With its young, dynamic team, this café-restaurant serves up sandwiches and bagels, as well as appetising dishes such as breaded soft-boiled egg and pork shoulder with celery. Vegetarians, too, are catered for, with a mixed plate of parsnips, potatoes, leeks and feta. The food is dreamed up and made by chef Solène Gallard, with high-quality local products and zero waste the watchwords.
Sweet tooths will love the chocolate, pecan and caramel brownie with beautifully fluffy whipped cream.
The unadorned terrace offers a magnificent view and is a great place to enjoy the sunshine over a drink and some street food.
