Description
Abandoned since 1934, the former station of Montrouge-Ceinture was reborn this summer in the form of a 400m2 cultural space. Le Poinçon (The Punch) takes its name from the eponymous tool used to perforate transport tickets until the 60's and immortalised by the song by Serge Gainsbourg.
There is a stage for concerts and public debates, a terrace overlooking the centre of Paris, a café, restaurant, exhibitions… Basically a hybrid and multifunctional place where it is nice to share a dinner, have a drink, participate in a debate, meet artists or simply catch up with friends.
The brains behind the project are the brilliant Cultplace team, a factory of social and cultural venues, already responsible for Bellevilloise, Dock B and La Petite Halle. It's sure to be popular!
