Description
Inspired by rooftop terraces in London or New York, Le Perchoir is located in the heart of the Oberkampf neighbourhood, famous for its lively nightlife scene.
Just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Rue Oberkampf, at the back of the courtyard of a very ordinary building, is the elevator that will take you straight to the seventh floor. Here the terrace offers you an exceptional view of the Sacré-Coeur, the bell tower of Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix-de-Ménilmontant, the Parisian roofs and the sunset.
Elevated aperitif
The decor shouts “cosy” everywhere you look: by turns Bedouin-inspired with colourful carpets and cushions; by turns Canadian cabin with raw wood furniture; while the garlands and potted aromatic herbs give the feel of a country house.
The bartender offers an imaginative cocktail menu, including the Dark'n'stormy (rum and ginger beer), or just order a bottle of rosé to share. To make the evening last, enjoy a plate of charcuterie, a gaspacho or a homemade burger. You can also dine at the restaurant on the sixth floor (by reservation only).
Good news: the Perchoir has expanded to a number of different locations across Paris: the roof of the BHV Marais and the Gare de l'Est, in the Buttes-Chaumont park and at the foot of the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand.
