Description

Open for more than 80 years and situated close to the Canopée des Halles, in a district that is always bustling with people, the Parisian institution La Poule au Pot always excels. With its large, inviting dining room, **bistro-style décor and zinc counter, the restaurant has been redecorated by the new owners in typical 1930s style.

The chef Jean-François Piège and his wife have designed a menu featuring iconic French dishes: duck galantine and full-bodied jelly, Colbert fried whiting and tartare sauce, platter of tartes du jour… The culinary offerings are always generous and delicious! This traditional cuisine is prepared and modernised by Jean François Piège’s great executive chef, Shinya Usami.

In 2019 La Poule au Pot was awarded 1 Michelin star. Yet another accomplishment for this chef and his “bistronomique” cuisine based on the great classics of the French culinary repertoire.
