- Exclusiv Golf de Courson – Stade Français
Description
Set only 30 minutes from Paris, untamed nature and the golfing green come together in perfect harmony at the Exclusiv Golf de Courson – Stade Français, inaugurated in 1991. Spread across a domain of more than 110 hectares, the course is without doubt one of the handsomest in Europe, boasting incomparable views, eight ponds of varying sizes, and beds planted with shrubs of broom bordering the fairways. This marvellous little gem, designed by the celebrated architect Robert Von Hagge, was created in the style of an English links, with four 9-hole courses that allow golfers to practice on six different 18-hole combinations.
A challenge for every golfer
Experienced golfers can pick their adversary: the Green course’s sweeping valleys – particularly tricky in strong winds; the formidable hillocks in the rough on the Orange course; the Lilac course’s diabolical bunkers; or the numerous stretches of water on the Black course.
Looking to perfect your stroke? The magnificent 60-bay practice arena, with its two vast putting greens and sprawling bunker, should quickly help you to up your game.
After a hard day on the links, a break at the characterful club house will be in order. Set in a 17th-century former farm building and renovated in a contemporary style, everything here is geared towards relaxation and conviviality, including the sublime terrace with its panoramic views.
